Steve Jobs Magically Saved Apple By “Casting Spells”: Bill Gates

It seems like Bill Gates is presently in the mood of discussing life, mistakes, and acknowledgments. Gates was recently interviewed by CNN’s Fareed Zakaria and the world’s second-richest man seemed to be in awe of Steve Jobs.

During the interview, Gates referred to Jobs as a “master at casting spells” in order to keep Apple boat sailing and become the most powerful tech company it is today.

Jobs’ ability to cast spells would keep the employees motivated to work for long hours and how the employees were mesmerized. While other people were all enticed with Jobs’ practices, Gates never fell for the spells as he calls himself a minor wizard.

Gates said, “I was like a minor wizard because he would be casting spells, and I would see people mesmerized, but because I’m a minor wizard, the spells don’t work on me.”

While we all know how Jobs was a difficult person to work with, Gates revealed that the late Apple co-founder had an eye for picking talents and hyper-motivating the talents, which no one can have other than Jobs.

He further praised Steve Jobs by stating that Jobs was a singular case and helped Apple rise above all when the company was at its lowest.

There aren’t going to be many stories like that,” he said.

Speaking about his own style of working, Gates said that he too was a harsh boss but that was inside Microsoft and no one ever complained of him being rude to anyone else.

As a reminder, Bill Gates previously appeared in an interview where he talked about his work-life balance and how vacationing wasn’t a thing in his dictionary, and how not Android was the biggest mistake of his life.
