OnePlus’ upcoming flagship, dubbed the OnePlus 7 has been seen in the rumor mill for quite some time. Among all the rumors and leaks we have seen so far, the new official teaser by the company hints at a “smooth” flagship we are soon to witness.
According to a teaser video posted on Twitter by OnePlus CEO Pete Lau, the OnePlus 7 will be all about smooth and fast everything, as seen by the multiple usages of the word in the tweet.
While the teaser video doesn’t clearly say OnePlus 7, the seven-shaped silhouette of the smartphone confirms the entry of the OnePlus 7.
Other details still remain behind the veil at the time of writing.
Although we lack concrete information about the OnePlus 7, the smartphone is expected to come in three variants: the OnePlus 7, the OnePlus 7 Pro, and the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G.
The smartphones are expected to sport a curved display with a 90Hz refresh rate and be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor.
The camera department is likely to be one of the highlights of the OnePlus 7 consisting of three rear cameras (48MP, 16MP, 8MP) and a 16MP pop-up selfie camera which will ensure we have a full bezel-less display.
In addition to this, the OnePlus 7 series is expected to come with an in-display fingerprint scanner, 44W fast charging, and run Android 9.0 Pie with OxygenOS on top.
OnePlus 7 release date has not been revealed yet, but it is expected to launch on May 14. Stay tuned to this space for further updates.
